Moving Africa
together.
Redefining how we move, connect, and live in our cities. One shared ride at a time.
Why Shared
Mobility Matters.
In the heart of Lagos and Abuja, the traditional commute has reached a breaking point. We are solving more than just a transit problem; we are reclaiming the human experience for the African professional.
The Hidden Cost of Traffic
For the average professional in Lagos, the workday doesn't start at 9 AM—it starts at 5 AM in a crawl on the Third Mainland Bridge. We lose over 30 hours a week to congestion. This is time that should belong to families, to rest, and to building our future. The mental and physical toll of this "static mobility" is unsustainable.
The Inefficiency Paradox
Look around any major Nigerian highway during rush hour. You'll see thousands of 5-seater cars, each carrying just one person. This fragmentation is the root of our crisis. By consolidating these individual journeys into shared, professional carpools, we can remove up to 75% of private vehicles from the road without reducing mobility. It's about optimizing what we already have.
Environmental Stewardship
Our cities are reaching their environmental limit. Shared mobility is the most immediate and scalable path to reducing our urban carbon footprint. Every Navia Ride partner who shares their commute is effectively planting trees every single day by preventing unnecessary emissions. We're building a greener Africa, one seat at a time.
Meet the
Founders.
Navia Ride was born out of a shared frustration with the daily gridlock of Lagos and Abuja. For the average 9-to-5 professional, the commute has become a battle of endurance.
While conventional gig-economy transit options have their place, they often fail the daily commuter—proving too costly for twice-daily use, adding more single-occupancy vehicles to already congested roads, and lacking the consistency needed for a professional schedule. We saw thousands of half-empty cars and decided to turn that wasted capacity into a community.
Academic Excellence
Adebisi Timileyin graduated Summa Cum Laude, finishing at the top of his class at Caleb University. This drive for excellence is embedded in every line of code at Navia Ride.
Community Vision
Chido Green, co-founder of Navia Ride and fellow Caleb University alumnus, brings a deep commitment to sustainable urban growth. Together, they are redefining the professional commute across Nigeria.
