Community Etiquette

Our Shared
Standards.

Navia Ride is built on trust, respect, and mutual accountability. These guidelines ensure a world-class experience for every professional in our network.

Professional Conduct

Punctuality

Time is our most valuable asset. Drivers and riders are expected to be at the designated pickup point 5 minutes before the scheduled time. A 5-minute grace period is allowed, after which the trip may be cancelled.

Mutual Respect

Treat every member with professional courtesy. Navia Ride is a community of peers; harassment, discrimination, or offensive language will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.

Professional Boundaries

While we encourage networking, please respect personal space and privacy. Keep conversations professional and comfortable for all parties involved.

Vehicle Etiquette

Cleanliness

Maintain a clean environment. No eating, smoking, or littering inside the vehicle. Drivers are expected to keep their cars pristine, and riders are expected to leave them as they found them.

Noise Levels

Keep noise to a minimum. Use headphones for music or videos. If you need to take a call, keep it brief and quiet. Discuss music preferences with your carpool partners.

Vehicle Maintenance

Drivers must ensure their vehicles are in top mechanical condition. Working air conditioning is mandatory for the professional comfort of all community members.

Safety & Compliance

Traffic Laws

Drivers must strictly adhere to all local traffic regulations. No speeding, reckless driving, or use of mobile phones while operating the vehicle.

Zero Tolerance

Navia Ride maintains a zero-tolerance policy for drug or alcohol use. Operating or entering a vehicle under the influence is strictly prohibited.

Rating Accountability

Our ecosystem thrives on honest feedback. Consistently low ratings (below 4.5 stars) will trigger an automatic review of your membership status.

Zero Tolerance Policy

We protect our community.

Safety and respect are non-negotiable. Any violation of our core safety protocols or professional conduct standards will result in immediate deactivation. We are committed to maintaining a safe haven for all African professionals.
